103.27 SYNOPSIS: Saanvi says that there is no record of a Kelly Taylor being brought to any morgue in the city. The final shot of the episode has the government taking Kelly’s body to do their own autopsy.

Scene switches to medical laboratory.
SAANVI: I don’t have an answer, but I have a theory. It’s just a little bit out there.
BEN: Okay, we’re listening.
MICHAELA: So you think we all had strokes?
SAANVI: No, not exactly. If we were taken close to death extremely close, and then brought back—if the faucet of blood circulation has been turned off and then suddenly it was turned on high, that’s what it would look like.
BEN: Interesting theory. How do we know for sure?
SAANVI: Right, so my thinking was if I had some brain tissue, I could test for that rebound. If they take a sample during an autopsy, maybe I could have some access.
Saanvi’s disturbing discovery
SAANVI: So, I logged into the M.E.’s database. These are all the bodies that have been registered in the Long Island morgue in the last 48 hours. There is no Kelly Taylor. I’ve looked everywhere. She’s not in the system. And then when I do a search

They look at the computer.
BEN: [SIGHS] Where is she?
Scene switches to an undisclosed location. A body van is being carried out of a van and placed onto a gurney.
Michaela and Saanvi’s next steps
JEFF RAKE: When they figure out that this body is missing, it just fuels the fires of their suspicion, that the government is at the least going to be incredibly intrusive in their lives going forward, but at the most that there is greater government involvement. That stokes some conspiracy theories that will exist among the community of passengers going all the way through [Episode] 13. What we’ll come to discover is that while the government involvement is not exactly as they predict it will be, there is in fact subversive activity going on that will present an increasing threat to them.
