Ben’s Support for Saanvi
Scene shifts to the hospital where Saanvi is sitting on the floor.
SAANVI: I just don’t feel like myself. I’m jumpy. I keep having these episodes. And I know what it is, intellectually—
SAANVI: The symptoms are classic, I know that, and I know I should talk to someone, and I will.
BEN: Hey, hey. It has only been one day. You know don’t be so hard on yourself. You’ll get through this, and in the meantime, we’re all here for you. Whatever you need.
Griffin’s Blood Work
BEN: [SIGHS] Damn. Well, there’s our proof.
SAANVI: All this time, I thought we were on the cusp of some earth-shattering discovery about us that’ll I don’t even know what. But that it would be good. I don’t think that anymore. I can’t help but think that we’re on verge of discovering something awful.
Saanvi’s PTSD Promises More Involvement for Her
Saanvi has had far too little to do this season, and the fact that she’s suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder promises more involvement for her character. It’s an odd choice of a problem for a penultimate episode, especially one in which she performs yet another blood test (that’s all she seems to do), but at least it adds something to Saanvi’s story besides the mysterious missing companion from the seat next to hers on Flight 828.
