Has this site been abandoned? The 3 of us seem to be sole survivors on here. I recommended this forum to a friend and then was told she was "banned" the next time she tried to log in. What's going on. I enjoy trading posts and replies with the 2 of you a great deal but I'd like to hear from others from time to time.
@tjlevi. There have been over a hundred individuals who have signed up as members. However, only a dozen or so members post comments. Most notably among those posting comments are you, MaryGrace, Schroeswald, and me. Why your friend was told she was "banned" is perplexing and unacceptable. I'll contact admin to see if a reasonable answer can be provided.
Members are constantly joining and more viewers have read the S2 forum topic, The Yusuv Al-Zuras connection, than any other topic over the last two years. I'd also like to hear from others. The more, the merrier. The rules and guidelines here are a little more restrictive than other forums, e.g., not being able to comment on the physical appearance of the actors and characters.
But the rules and guidelines shouldn't be deal-breakers for those who would post comments. I'm just like everyone else who posts comments. Although it may not seem like it at times, but I'm a huge fan of Manifest. That doesn't mean that I can't be disappointed and disgruntled at times ... or voice such dissatisfaction.
I wouldn't characterize the site as being abandoned; but grossly underutilized. Obviously, in my opinion, Jeff Rake, and his writers and cast don't post comments here because they think those posting comments and using this site are significant when it comes to blindly supporting his "creative" efforts. If the word "Abandoned" holds any truth, then "Abandoned" is only a reflection of the show's ratings.
Sometimes I right and sometimes I wrong. But I always try very hard not to be an insensitive, malicious, thoughtless human being.
chuckb here. I survived. I have been totally entertained reading all the posts. I have been watching Sy Fy on Netflix. Pretty good story telling and character development. Manifest story runners should try to steel some talent for the writing pool.
Thanks for accepting me in this forum. I hope to be active. I have lots of ideas from the past and for the future of the show.
I have been watching Sy Fy on Netflix. Pretty good story telling and character development.
I've also been watching a lot of Netflix. The storytelling and character development for many of its sci-fi series have definitely been superior to that of Manifest. I just finished watching Cursed and the movie, The Old Guard. Before that I watched the series, Warrior Nun and Always A Witch. I can't help it. My eyes are addicted to eye candy. Watching Netflix is a form of therapy for me.
@tjlevi. No problem. I'll do all that I can because we're in this together.
