A flashback gives more detail about what it was like during the turbulence on Flight 828. After the landing, we hear more of the NSA interviews that were conducted by Director Vance. A new passenger, Autumn Cox, who has several warrants for her addressed, is taken into custody.
Grace plans a surprise barbecue for Ben later that afternoon. When Ben arrives home from his “errands”, Grace has her own errands to run. While Ben plays basketball with Cal in the front yard, a despondent Autumn Cox approaches Ben on the sidewalk.
Autumn thanks Ben in his garage and tells him that she heard a voice in her head to find him. She tells him that she and the others were hooked up to monitors and drugged. She describes the dairy farm with the red door. Ben tells her she is safe now.
Fiona examines Autumn and tells Ben about her research. Saanvi tells her that her research was unethical. They discuss whether or not to tell Vance about everything, including the callings. Ben says its worth the risk.
Ben takes Vance into the boiler room to show him Autumn. When Vance says the can’t move until he finds out more, Ben tells him about the callings, how some passengers know things that no one else knows, how they receive impulses. Autumn tells Vance more about the “treatments” she received.
Cal senses something is about to happen. Laurence is being told to proceed by an unidentified “Major” who tells him to double the charge. This time, not only does Cal experience pain, so does Ben, Michaela, Autumn and Saanvi. Vance watches and says, “What the hell?” Meanwhile, Cal is drawing a picture of Red Hook as blood drips from his nose.
While Ben and Vance come up with a plan to enter the Red Hook facility, Grace proceeds with her plans of giving Ben a surprise barbecue. As guests start arriving, she tries to Call Ben, but can’t reach him.
